This item would seem to be a trial for the Queen Elizabeth "In Memoriam" issue, that somehow has managed to be postally used and remains on small piece.
Value in different font to issued stamp and dates 1926 - 2003. Black border on perforated edge rather than inside perforated edge as on issued design. Prepared it would seem as early as 2003. The date on cancellation is partly missing and reads 02 - 12 - 201?. Illustrated with the issued 2nd class value from November 2022 issue at right
